WHO IS THIS?
Keana Walters is a 22-year-old artist in RISD Illustration from Brooklyn, NY. Their work ranges from comics and tattooing to animation and painting. They’re currently most devoted to their comics project titled Doug’s Demise and creating paintings using skateboards as a canvas.
Outside of creating, they're active in the gym, rock climbing, soccer, and biking as well as reading many books, comics, manga, watching films, and indulging in animations of every variety but especially 2D animation, and anime.
Their art explores themes of identity, queerness, and transmuting the lower depths of emotions and life circumstances into works of wonder, bringing escapist worlds to life in a variety of mediums, ranging from oil paint to digital curation.
